BECOME AN EDITOR

If you are an undergraduate Baruch student interested in joining REFRACT’s editorial team, feel free to stop by our weekly editorial meetings held every Thursday during club hours (1–2 p.m.) in the English Department computer suite (NVC 7–205).

It is not required, but if you would like to introduce yourself to the masthead before officially joining, please provide a brief cover letter or résumé.

Editors serve a vital role in our mission to publish new writing.

Editors are expected to:
—attend weekly editorial meetings
—discuss with the other editors
—read selected writing
—vote on submissions
—fact-check, content edit, and copy-edit
—assist with creative events/projects.

At REFRACT, we believe that everyone has the potential to strengthen and exhibit their editorial capabilities. We open our doors to every undergraduate Baruch student, regardless of your year, major, or editing experience.
